| We met Sam quite
by accident at an adoption show in Towsen, Maryland in January of 2005.
We were on our way to meet Molly at a foster's home that day, but decided
at the last minute to stop at the adoption show. There on Judy McArthur's
lap sat the most beautiful dog we had ever seen. We ended up adopting Sam
that day along with Molly.
I have never had a dog that bonded so tightly to me as Sam did. We joked that Sam was my "boyfriend" since he got jealous if others, particularly men, came around me. He was the love of my life, and I miss him tremendously. We lost Sam quite suddenly after sharing 2 1/2 years with him. Not a day goes by that Ken and I don't think about him or see things that remind us of him. So this is my tribute to Sam. Rest in peace my little sweetheart - you are in our hearts always. |
