In 1996, my partner
Annie Stevens and I adopted a 2-year old cocker spaniel named Simba from
you. We were living in Takoma Park, MD at the time, and within a year of
adopting Simba, we moved to Vermont.
We've been in touch
a few times through the years to let you all know what a wonderful life
Simba was leading -- but we lost him last month to a brain tumor. He would
have been 13 this summer.
